Form Field IDs for Inter-Facility Transfers

You can use the following form fields to design the <IFT> tab (on page 1). In addition to the fields listed below, you can add the available flex fields for the inter-facility gate stage.

 

Booking

For Receive Export Transfers.

Displays a text field for entering a booking number.

 

Carrier I/B Actual

For Deliver Import transfers.

Displays a drop down list of inbound carrier visits.

 

Carrier O/B Declared

Displays a lookup field of outbound carriers.

 

Container Accessory Nbr

For Deliver Import transfers.

Displays a text field for the clerk to enter the container accessory number in a gate form.

The system will prompt you to re-enter an unknown container accessory number.

 

Commodity Code

For Receive Export transfers.

Displays a lookup field of commodity codes.

 

Destination

For Deliver Import transactions.

Displays a lookup field of destination codes.

 

Equipment Type

Displays a drop-down list of equipment ISO types.

 

Freight Kind

Displays a drop-down list of freight kinds.

 

Gross Weight

Displays a text field to declare the weight of the container including its cargo.

 

Group

Displays a drop down list of routing group codes.

 

Hazardous?

For Receive Export transfers.

Displays a check box in a gate form for the clerk to indicate if the container is hazardous and requires an inspection at another gate stage.

When a clerk checks this field and successfully saves the gate transaction, this field will pre-populate as checked if displayed in a gate form at a subsequent gate stage.

This information is saved only on the gate transaction record, it is not saved on the unit. Do not use this field in edit mode with the Hazards - Add/Edit field at the same gate stage. In addition, N4 does not automatically select this check box when a container is pre-advised as hazardous. To see existing hazards, use the Hazards - Add/Edit field instead.

 

Hazards

For Receive Export transfers.

Displays the Hazard button that opens the Hazards from.

 

Is OOG

For Receive Export transfers.

Displays a check box in a gate form for the clerk to indicate if the container is out of gauge and requires inspection at another gate stage. This information is saved only on the gate transaction record, it is not saved on the unit.

When a clerk checks this field and successfully saves the gate transaction, N4 displays this field as selected at any subsequent gate stage where it is included in the gate form.

Do not use this field with the OOG - Add/Edit field (on page 1) at the same gate stage. If you add the OOG details in the OOG - Add/Edit form (on page 1), N4 does not select the OOG check box, automatically.

 

Import Release Nbr

For Deliver Import transfers.

Displays a text field for the clerk to enter the import container release number. The data entered in this field can be either the group ID or the bill of lading number.

If N4 cannot find a valid group or bill of lading for the given number and if the RejectReleaseNbrUnknown (on page 1) business task is included, N4 displays an error message.

 

Line Operator

Displays a lookup field of line operators.

 

Notes

For Deliver Import transfers.

Displays a text field for a user to enter data. When a user enters a valid unit ID, N4 automatically fills in the Notes field with the routing description of the unit. If the ApplyContainerNotes (on page 1) business task is included any modifications to the Notes field are saved to the unit's routing description.

 

OOG - Add/Edit

For Receive Export transfers. Displays the OOG button that opens the OOG - Add/Edit form (on page 1).

 

Port of Discharge

For Receive Export transfers.

Displays a lookup field of discharge ports.

 

Railroad

For Deliver Import transfers.

Displays a drop down list of railroads.

 

Reefer - Add/Edit

For Receive Export transfers.

Displays the Reefer button that opens the Reefer - Add/Edit form (on page 1).

 

Second Port of Discharge

For Receive Export transfers.

Displays a lookup field of discharge ports for the second port of discharge for the container.
